LeAnn Brum, CIC, HOA Insurance Advisor of LaBarre/Oksnee Insurance

will be discussing the recent changes to State Statutes (Law) that will affect your homeowner insurance going forward.  A must seminar to attend.

LeAnn Brum, CIC, HOA Insurance Advisor, has had over 30 years of insurance experience, with the last 20 years specializing in Condominium and Homeowners Associations. As an insurance agent, LeAnn has worked with many of the leading Insurance Carriers, and only provides insurance quotes with companies rated A or better by AM Best. LeAnn has her Certified Insurance Councilor (CIC) Designation, has been a member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and Arizona Association of Community Managers (AACM) for over 15 years. She has served on the Education Committee and assisted in writing the basic insurance training guide for HOA’s that is still used today. LeAnn has also sat on a board of directors for a 55+ Community Condominium Association for the last 17 years. This experience gives her a unique perspective into understanding the specific needs of a Condominium Association and its Board of Directors.

Topics to be discussed:

Chris Padget has been with Rain Bird Services since 2010, previously he worked in the golf industry. He is a graduate of the University of California , Riverside.  Chris joined Rain Bird Services a a Field Service Engineer covering San Diego and Orange county.  In 2012 he moved to Arizona as a Central Control Sales Specialist, covering 9 states in the west.  In 2016 he was promoted to Regional Sales Manager at Rain Bird.  He currently manages and assists a team of Area Specification managers in their efforts to continue to make sure Rain Bird is the number one irrigation product choice for consumers.

Brandon Grimes

Brandon Grimes has been with Rain bird for the past 2.5 years as a Contractor Account Manager responsible for Arizona and New Mexico.  He is a two time recipient of Rain Birds Circle of Excellence Away.  Starting in 2000 Brandon decided to pursue a degree in Turfgrass Management.  After graduation he worked at the Westchester Country Club preparing for the Buick Classic. He then spent five years working for the PGA Tour Agronomy and preparing Sawgrass for the Players Championship from 2000-2005.  He  also spent 13 years managing a large scale commercial landscape in the Phoenix valley.

Brian W. Morgan, Esq. is a founding member and managing partner of Maxwell & Morgan, P.C. where he practices exclusively in community association law and litigation. For more than a decade Brian helped chair the Legislative Action Committee for the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Central Arizona Chapter, where he participated in shaping the landscape of State and Federal legislation involving community associations. Brian is one of only about 150 attorneys nationally that has been admitted as a fellow to the College of Community Association Lawyers.  He is a sought after lecturer and faculty member for educational seminars on local and national levels for issues involving community associations.

Brian is a member of the State Bars of Arizona and Utah and has been licensed to practice law in Arizona since 1999 and in Utah since 2000.

      Forum with OHOA Board Chair Gail Olsen, OHOA Director Rodger DeBritz, and other OHOA
      Board Directors

  2. Arizona Jones from Arizona Pest Experts and Daniel Baiza from Sunscape Landscape.  Arizona Jones will
      explain those pesky critters that live in SCW including termites and how to remove them, common rodents such as
      Pocket Gophers, Roof Rats, mice and how to control them, and pigeons, especially those that roost under solar
      panels.  He will focus on proactive measures to prevent damage and reduce costs.
      Daniel Baiza will answer questions about landscaping and irrigation. He is the owner of Sunscape Landscape, a
      Landscape Design Landscaping and Landscaper Service Company experienced in design planting, irrigation and
      maintenance.  They do it all!
     
  3. Deputy Johnathon Sanchez, Maricopa County Sheriff's District III Community Outreach Department
      Liaison.  Deputy Sanchez
has been employed in the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office for 10 years, 7 years as a
      Detention Officer and 3 years as a Deputy Sheriff.  He will provide information about the Maricopa County Sheriff's
      Office District III Patrol Operations and address the crime statistics for Sun City West.  He will also answer your
      questions about the Sheriff's Office.
