OHOA Office Location

1. Where is the OHOA Office located?

The OHOA Office is located in the Sun City West Foundation Office Building at 14465 R.H. Johnson (the corner of Stardust Blvd. and West R.H. Johnson Blvd.) in Sun City West.

2. What are the hours of the OHOA Office?

The OHOA Office is open every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday mornings from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from October through April. Phone calls and e-mails are answered during the summer.

3. Who do I contact to learn more about the Bylaws and CC&Rs in Sun City West?

For all areas that are not in an HOA, contact the Sun City West Recreation Centers Office at 623-544-6100.

CC&Rs for homes NOT in an HOA:

Review
your closing documents or call your Board or Management Company for a copy of your most current CC&R documents. Keep in mind that there are numerous sets of CC&Rs for Sun City West. The Recreation Centers are now handling CC&Rs for SCW except for the HOAs. Our office (Organization of HOAs in SCW) will help you or your HOA board.

CC&Rs for the Sun City West Expansion/Addition Area:

Call the Sun City West Recreation Centers Office at 623-544-6100 and request an email or printed copy. An HOA will have additional CC&Rs specific to their area and controlled by their HOA Board.

CC&Rs for YOUR specific HOA:

Review your closing documents which should include either a paper document or a disk, or call your management company or a board member for paper or digital documents.

6. How do I find the name of my HOA or the HOA associated with a specific address in Sun City West?

Look up the address on the OHOA Website. The list is sorted by street name and then house number.

7. Am I required to register my rented SCW home and its tenant(s) with any SCW officials? With Maricopa County? With my HOA?

SCW does require homeowners to register their home rental and/or tenants with their office and payment for usage of Rec Center facilities.

SCW homeowners who rent out their home MUST REGISTER their tenant(s) with Maricopa County. Click to find the form: Maricopa County Residential Rental Property Registration Form .

Some HOAs DO NOT ALLOW home rentals. For the most updated information on renting your home, contact your HOA board for any restrictions and/or requirements. It is also imperative that you check the CC&Rs for your HOA.

8. What are the rules for parking an RV in Sun City West?

There is a 72 hour limit for parking your RV. This is for loading and unloading your vehicle. You may not use it to sleep in.  HOA Boards are responsibile for enforcing this rule for their specific area and the CC&R Department will enforce all other areas.  If an HOA Board is having a problem enforcing, please contact the OHOA office.
